ever got tired of those stupid suctions phone holders which ruin the look of your car and then you realized the CD ones are shit too. well you have come the right place, I remade the ashtray cover for my 7th gen civic to be able to hold my phone horizontally. PROs: - its seamless looks perfect doesn't standout too much. - really close to the 12V port, so if you have a short Type C you will enjoy the tight fit CONs: - if you print it an ABS you better print the version which requires the M3 bolts and nuts because it may crack without clear holes - you have to print it in abs if you are in hot regions - You cant easily get to your volume buttons, annoying , but workaround able. Summary: I do like it and use it everyday, if you have a printer and a 7th gen civic , try it out , you might like it too. Requirements: - About 30grams of abs - 2 * M3 Bolts (about 12mm in length, more is OK) - 2 * M3 Nuts - 7th gen civic with an ashtray Good luck!
