City Place Schooner - Lower Keel Piece
sketchfab
This is a scale model of the lower keel portion of the City Place schooner that was discovered disassembled from the stern end of the wreckage. The remains of the historic vessel, a 19th-century ship, were uncovered during the construction of the City Place neighborhood in Toronto back in 2015. The wreck lies at present at the Fort York National Historic Site and is currently under thorough examination by experts from the Nautical Archaeology Program at Texas A&M University. All photographs used for this scale model were taken by Robin Galloso, who was part of a team of students from Texas A&M University that conducted a survey of the wreckage in 2018.
