This 3D model originated in Sketchup 8, subsequently converted to all other major formats. The original file format remains .skp, with the 3ds Max scene built in version 2016 of this industry-standard software, utilizing Vray 3.00 for high-quality rendering. I sought to experiment with the consequences of organizing a theoretical perfect juncture – three intersecting roads spaced 120 degrees apart, designed to allow drivers complete flexibility and avoidance of oncoming traffic, thus obviating the need for traffic signals or stop signs altogether. This fractal-inspired layout produces an inherent hexagonal pattern, scalable infinitely in various contexts!
