Since they love entertaining, I thought creating tropical coasters would be the perfect idea. My inspiration came from two designs: Citrus Slice and Citrus Coaster, but I had a few modifications in mind. For starters, a coaster needs a spot where water can collect, and I wanted to design something that allowed for easy filament changes during printing. I began with white on the multi-colored coasters, using Filaflex TPU - a versatile material similar to Ninjaflex that won't scratch your table.
