Citroën 2CV

The Citroën 2CV, often referred to as "deux chevaux," was a budget-friendly car produced by French automaker Citroën from 1948 to 1990. This innovative vehicle featured unconventional looks and a simple, all-metal body inspired by Bauhaus design and early all-metal aircraft like Junkers. Despite its modest appearance, it boasted exceptional engineering. Created with small-holder French farmers in mind who still relied on horses and carts during the 1930s, this iconic car prioritized low cost, ease of use and maintenance, versatility, reliability, fuel efficiency, and off-road capabilities. The vehicle was modeled from a metal scale 1:18 model by Italian manufacturer BBurago, which has since been discontinued; however, similar models can be found at voiture-miniature.com (French site). Personal modifications include a GRABCAD personalized plate, engine inside view, instrument panel with texture, layered seat with texture, crawler axle, full bottom chassis, new wheel, and steering column. However, the car is still missing shock absorbers, a fuel tank, and seat foot supports, and there are issues with door placement and front bumper alignment.
