My colleague's Citroen DS5 had a defective hood lift clip, so we designed and manufactured a new one from scratch. It works flawlessly now. To create the replacement part, we printed it lengthwise on our 3D printer bed. The two ends needed to be folded outward, which provided added strength when printed in this orientation. We chose to use PETG filament for printing because it offers more flexibility compared to PLA, making it a better choice for this specific application.
