The SQUIR team has crafted an intricate 3D model, ready for rendering in 3ds Max without the need for additional plugins. It features a comprehensive setup with stock 3ds Max and Mental Ray shaders, including lightning, materials, and background setups. The model is optimized for 3ds Max 2012 but can be used in newer versions with minimal adjustments. SQUIR provides uncollapsed modifier stacks for 3ds Max, and if needed, lower polygon versions can be supplied for other programs upon request. There are three different 3ds Max files included: an uncollapsed model for editing, a hipoly file with cleaned modifier history for use in other programs, and a studio file containing rendering setups used for previews.
