The spare part I ordered snapped in two as soon as I tried to install it. I replaced it with a brand new one, building it to be significantly more robust from scratch. It features a screw on top for secure attachment and an old-fashioned pin-style sliding mechanism at the bottom. To seal the remaining gap between the lever arm and the part, you'll need to carve out a small piece of plastic or rubber and attach it securely to the screw!
