The original 3D model was built with Sketchup before being transformed into various other 3D formats. The native file format is .skp, while 3ds Max scenes use version 2016 and are rendered using Vray 3.00 software. Standing proudly atop Gellert Hill, one of Budapest's most breathtaking spots, the Citadella was constructed in 1854 by the Habsburgs as a direct response to the crushing defeat of the 1848-49 Hungarian revolution and war of independence. Located along with the Castle District and the majestic Danube River panorama, Gellert Hill earned its World Heritage designation back in 1987.
