Adult Hen Harrier Skull Discovered in Spain A striking cranium was unearthed on November 12th, 2005, in the picturesque town of Vilajuïga, nestled within the region of Alt Empordà, Girona, Spain. The skull measured an impressive 64.8 millimeters in depth and a width of 38.4 millimeters. Notably, it was identified as belonging to a juvenile Circus cyaneus, scientifically classified by Linnaeus in 1766 as the Hen Harrier.
