Circus - Big Tent Arena Structure - Modular Terrain

myminifactory

Part of Patreon July release. https://www.patreon.com/makingtlon The set contains modular scatter terrain parts to build a gargantuan circus arena with a tent. Despite its size, the model is highly detailed. As always, larger modular models are sliced up and printable on small printers. The Circus Arena structure is gigantic. It can host around 300 people in D&D measurements, and is modular! You can print just one wing and have it as a sport grandstand (anyone said bloodbowl?), or you can print only the C sides and make a circular colosseum-like arena, or even print multiple straight sections and make a hippodrome style structure for medieval tournaments and jousts. The possibilities are endless, and it makes a great setup for an encounter where the heroes are thrown at the center of the scene, with the eyes of the public pointed at them as they fight some unexpected enemy! The Tent part is even larger: it is 71.3 cm long, 36.8 cm wide and 31.3 cm tall. It is modular and sliced up to fit small printers. However, printing the whole thing will be a time consuming process that will definitely require some hobby work. These cloth parts are large resin surfaces that most likely will warp a bit, and the final model will require bending, sanding and glueing.  Supports with hobby materials (e.g. iron wire) are highly recommended to keep the "roof" structure parts together and removable as a single piece of glued resin.  The walls are easier to print and assemble and, once glued, are best kept in quarters or halves that can be positioned on the battlefield or removed at need.  Similarly to the Doors to Baragun, the roof of this tent is primarily a presentation piece, while the walls are the main printable part! All the parts are presupported.
