Circular LED strip holder for 3528 LED Strip
thingiverse
I'm planning to swap out the 22-watt T9 circular fluorescent lamp in my desktop lamp with a magnifying glass for some energy-efficient LED lights. I've got just the thing - this LED light holder is designed to give my desk lamp an economical upgrade using a 3528 LED strip. The base can accommodate two strips of 72 LEDs, which will only consume about 6 watts and shine brighter than the T9 bulb. Please be aware that there's a risk of electric shock when working with electrical components. To get everything up and running, I'll need to modify the fluorescent lamp circuit by replacing the ballast with a 12V 2A power supply unit so it can work seamlessly with the LED strip. If you've got access to a large bed printer, you can print this holder as one piece - otherwise, just print it in quarter pieces and glue them together. When printing, I recommend keeping the following settings in mind: Rafts: Off; Supports: Off
