Full learn guide: https://learn.adafruit.com/double-sided-pcb-milling The Circuit Playground Express is a great board with many sensors and components, offering numerous example projects, libraries, and code on the Adafruit learning system. For certain projects, connecting other components like motors and servos requires more than just alligator clips, which can be nice solder-free connections but not always reliable. Fabricating a custom PCB adapter with standard 0.1" headers is a great way to attach jumper cables and other connectors to the Circuit Playground Express securely.
