To create a holder for your contact-less switch in your closet, follow these simple steps. Step one: Take a standard clothespin and cut the metal part off at both ends using wire cutters. This will allow you to easily place it in your wardrobe. Step two: Take a 9v battery from an old device such as a smoke detector. Connect one end of a 6inch piece of wire to the negative side, making sure to tape down the other end tightly with electrical tape so it does not make contact accidentally while handling. Step three: Strip the insulation off the tip of a regular AA battery that's in your flashlight or something. Make sure to be gentle, as not to strip the copper coating away and leave just insulation. Step four: Attach one end of the exposed wires from steps 2 & 3 together using electrical tape on top of the metal parts, with both being bent at around a 90 degree angle towards each other. Step five: Mount it somewhere above your clothes rack in your closet. Place this new sensor anywhere near you as you change outfits in your closet. Once placed carefully on something, plug it in the power strip to your switch (like it was normally plugged). This setup can be done in under a minute, allowing you complete access without getting your hand wet!
