Remix of Quentin1400's snap ring/circlip pliers to fit generic 4mm hex bits that are commonly available in small screwdriver sets like this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07S1ZPC1R Designed to remove a circlip with 6mm distance between pin holes hence the hex slots being slightly off-centre. I've included STEP files with and without the slots so they can be customised as required. I used an M4x12mm bolt fitted to a 5mm exterior diameter sleeve nut with 15mm shaft to connect the two identical pieces together, the action is smooth and secure. An elastic band around the top works well to keep the pliers closed.
