Circle Torture Test ================_ _______________ ## Update Successfully merged it into a single piece. _______________ This test takes around three minutes and is quite challenging, especially for my glass bed. Achieving consistent circle formations is indeed very difficult. Tests for level bed, nozzle height, and bed adhesion are all conducted during this process. You can certainly exploit the system by setting your nozzle height extremely low using a z offset, but doing so would compromise the quality of your first layer on other prints. Potential issues that may arise include: * Circles not adhering properly * Incomplete circle formations * Box-like appearance of circles * Filament not extruding correctly * Stringing problems * Uneven texture * Large clumps of filament Running a gentle finger over the circles should not dislodge them. However, if a corner becomes stuck too tightly, it will not come off easily and needs to be loosened. If the circle is pressed too firmly onto the build surface (glass), wiping it with a slightly damp paper towel often resolves the issue. When using this test with an Ender 3, I recommend adjusting the settings found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2954285
