Creating a 3D snowflake using BlocksCAD is a straightforward process. First, start by opening BlocksCAD and creating a new project. Then, select the "Polyhedron" tool from the toolbar and choose a regular hexagon as your base shape. Next, use the "Extrude" option to give your snowflake some depth. After that, add some flair with the "Facet" tool by applying a series of smooth curves along each edge of the hexagon. Once you're satisfied with the design, switch to the "Wireframe" view and select all edges in your model. Use the "Delete Edge" option to create holes at regular intervals along the perimeter. Finally, adjust the size and position of these holes as needed until your snowflake looks perfect for its intended use. To add some final details, simply duplicate your base shape, flip it upside down, and then combine the two shapes using the "Union" tool. Use the "Rotate" option to position this new component at a 60-degree angle relative to the original hexagon. After that, all you have to do is apply some color with BlocksCAD's built-in paint tool or transfer your design to another program for further editing.
