Circle Monogram Pendant
thingiverse
I create a personalized monogram pendant with multiple color options. Ideal for crafting jewelry and gift-giving purposes. My Design Process I Begin with Basic Sketches and Extrusions Initially, I utilized a picture of circular monograms to plan out the layout. Using AutoCAD, I generated a circle ranging from 1.5 to 1.75 inches in size depending on individual preference. Within this circle, starting from the center, I drew lines forming the letters of their initials. Once all three letters had a cohesive design with connectors and a ring to attach to a necklace chain, I isolated the entire drawing and extruded each component approximately .15 inches deep, removing voids in between letter details. I then imported the 3D model into 123D software for preview purposes. For production readiness, save your AutoCAD file as an STL format or use 123D's functionality to achieve this so you can easily take it to a 3D printer.
