Circle Lamp (8mm LED)
thingiverse
Remix of PLENUE's circle lamp. The LED strip I had on hand was 8mm wide, much narrower than the strip width PLENUE's was designed for. I compressed (scaled) everything along one axis to make the internal track 9mm wide. I also separated the ring parts (print_x3 and bottom) and mid_holder into halves/parts that will print without supports and and can be glued together after printing. If you want the split files in the same dimensions as the original you can probably just scale those back up along the correct axis in CURA (but I haven't tried). I've included the original (scaled) parts with the same filename as the original, plus the split versions (with 'split' in the filenames). I also included my .blend files for the splitting in case someone wants to tweak those. I printed the holder in black PETG and the ring (including LED diffuses) in white PLA. I also printed some extra LED diffusers in black PETG and glued them around the outside of the ring. This covered up the separation line between the halves of the ring segments and looks nice IMO. You could also print some extras in the same color as the ring to cover the separation lines if you don't want a different color there. The main downside to this narrower version is that it isn't very stable (though idk how stable the original is either). You might need to mount/attach it to a wider base if it's going to be used where it's liable to get bumped.
