Thanks to p4nd4x for his remix! He split the design into two parts, making it possible to print without support. Additionally, he created a printable slider that eliminates the need for flat aluminum or similar materials, requiring only two hex M5 screws instead. Since existing Makita circle jig designs on Thingiverse lacked stability and required hard-to-find parts, I designed a new one with simplicity and printability in mind. Unfortunately, this design is unprintable without support, but it minimizes filament waste and requires minimal post-processing. To complete the project, you'll need a 20x5mm piece of material (max 6mm) with a 5mm thread on one side and something pin-like on the other. Maintaining a 45mm distance between the pin and threaded rod allows for circles up to 200mm in diameter without gaps. Keep at least 10mm of material beyond the threaded rod for stability when setting the maximum radius. To prevent scratches, ensure the threaded rod doesn't protrude. I used a M5x20 sunk head screw glued with epoxy. The knurled grip for a M5 nut is available as Thing 3730440. This design was inspired by Thing 2611305 and tested on a Katsu clone, ensuring compatibility with Makita routers and their clones.
