Circle Illusion

Circle Illusion, Optical Illusion Designing a worthwhile 3D project involves creating various optical illusions, and one effective design is the spinning circles. This concept offers many opportunities to sketch and offset circles, resulting in an intriguing 3D design. The current design is just an example of how to create a dual conic illusion when spun slowly (refer to the GIF demonstration below). A circular board with a diameter of 120 mm provides an ideal base for this project. To achieve a striking color contrast, change the filament at about 70% completion or after the base is printed. Printing the whole board with white or light-colored filament can also produce a visually appealing effect. Once finished, the crescent patterns can be painted using another color to add depth and visual interest to the design. Thanks to natural warping, the board can be spun on a smooth surface without a stand if desired. However, a stand can be used to raise the board for spinning. Spinning the circle creates an engaging optical illusion that will captivate viewers. 1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illusion
