Circle Illusion

Circle Illusion, Optical Illusion Spinning circles present a fascinating 3D design project, offering numerous opportunities to sketch and offset circular shapes. This example demonstrates a dual conic illusion when spun slowly (refer to the GIF demonstration below). The circular board measures 120 mm in diameter. To achieve striking color contrast, change the filament at about 70% completion or after printing the base. Alternatively, use white or light-colored filament to print the entire board. Once finished, paint the crescent patterns with a contrasting color. The natural warping of the board allows it to spin smoothly on any surface without a stand. If desired, a stand can be used to elevate the board for spinning purposes. References: 1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illusion
