Circle Guide

Circle Guide

thingiverse

When creating Free Body Diagrams for my engineering classes, I had to draw many circles, but with the artistic skills of a walrus, my wheels often turned into potatoes, asteroids, and amoebas. While compasses are useful for larger diagrams, they're not ideal for smaller circles, and they leave a small hole in your clean paper. I designed this compact guide to help me make perfect circles for Free Body Diagrams or any other project that requires precision, and I can carry it with me in my wallet. The guide features two sides: one with metric diameters (5mm, 10mm, 15mm, and 20mm) and the other with English Units (1/4in, 1/2in, 3/4in, and 1in), so you can make a perfect circle regardless of your needs. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: It doesn't matter if you use them or not. Supports: You don't need any supports for this guide. Resolution: Set the resolution to 0.1mm for optimal results. Infill: Use 100% infill for a solid and durable guide. Notes: Consider using a raft to prevent the first layer from melting onto the heated bed, which can cause slight dimension errors. Increasing the wall thickness also helps improve the accuracy of the circles themselves.
