Designing the outer casing for a metric tape involves creating multiple components. Two parts will be made of plastic, while another two will be constructed from rubber. The final component is a metal piece used to secure everything together. Since the internal workings were not explored as the casing was not taken apart, attention has been focused solely on crafting an attractive exterior design.
