This custom lens re-housing is optimized for "Rocky Non / Samyang (POLA) 35mm f / 1.4 still lens and 35mm T1.5 cine lens". These lenses have different names for lenses for still cameras and for VDSLR cine lenses, but the actual optical design is the same (the shape of the focus ring and aperture ring are slightly different), and the diameter of the front of the lens is the same, The mount standard for attaching the hood is the same, so the internal structure is almost the same, so I think these lenses are the same lenses. The Rockinon (Samyang) MF lens is one of the lenses that I use often. In short, I think it's a good lens that is cost effective. There are many advantages, but one regret is that it is a bit disappointing given that the focus operation is a dedicated manual focus lens. (The cause can be found in the cam gear structure of the internal structure.) Therefore, I wanted to compensate for the inconvenience of manual operation through the lens re-housing. This lens housing has an outer diameter of 114mm and the focal gear is also applied with a 0.8M standard gear pitch applied to cinema lenses. (Outer diameter 114mm / 141T) The larger the outer diameter of the lens, the more burdensome, but the larger the outer diameter of the focus ring, the finer the focus can be adjusted. This is useful when using an auxiliary device dedicated to other cinema lenses. Designed to be secured using several M5 and M4 standard grub screws. The filter step-up ring used on the front is designed for easy use of regular round filters and is designed to securely hold the front part of the lens housing.
