Each film from the sample takes center stage in multiple positions along its entire production and distribution journey. The color palette serves as a visual guide to distinguish between film types - green for feature-length fiction, blue for short fiction, red for feature-length documentaries, and yellow for short documentaries. This color-coding system not only indicates a film's genre but also its motivation, with bright colors representing non-national motivations and opaque colors signifying a specific country of origin. The line width conveys the extent of educational and aesthetic influences - narrow lines represent regional or local influences, while broad lines signify transnational interactions. The white tip at the end of each line points to the primary source of funding. Each film's path on the cube showcases the diverse distribution alternatives it pursued, combining financial, spatial, and displayability perspectives in a unique blend.
