Each film from the sample occupies multiple positions throughout its production and distribution processes within this framework. A green line signifies a feature-length fiction film, while a blue line represents a short fiction film, with red lines denoting feature-length documentaries and yellow lines indicating short documentaries. The colour code also serves to indicate a film's motivation based on luminosity changes, with bright colours representing non-national motivations and opaque colours signifying ties to specific countries. Line width corresponds to the type of influence - narrow for regional (local) influences and broad for transnational interactions. A white tip marks the primary source of funding. The path each film takes within the cube illustrates its various distribution alternatives, taking into account financial, spatial, and displayability perspectives.
