Cinebot30 DJI O3 air unit camera TPU ears
thingiverse
I ordered a Cinebot30 frame with the aluminum O3 air unit conversion parts option but it didn't come with the necessary TPU parts. I've reached out to Geprc to request the needed parts but was told I'd need to buy their NEW O3 air unit kit which now includes the TPU ears and some other needed parts for the conversion. I decided to give this a try before spending any more money... though I ended up also needing UFL extensions for the DJI antenna and m1.6x8 screws to screw the air unit to the frame. Kind of a pain in the butt but I very much want to fly this thing so, you do what you've got to do. I found the UFL male to female cables at a company called Data-alliance.net. The SKU number is Um1iUf and I chose the 1.5" option w/ the 1.3mm thin, flexible cable. I have no previous experience w/ them so time will tell if the cables or the company are good. You'll also need two m2x4mm screws for the top brace of the camera mount. The m2x6's are too long and will damage the aluminum mount if screwed down. I ended up using four washers per side to shorten my existing m2x6's for now. I haven't tested this design either. I opted for a stationary bottom screw and curved top slot to act as a pivot to change the angle of the camera and it looks to me to set the camera far enough back to protect it but far enough forward to keep the view unobstructed. edit: I added some spacers so you won't need washers on the protective top bar if you're using the m2x6 screws. another edit, I've added the left/right low infill ears I use in my cinebot. I print these in ninjaflex 84 shore and experience no jello. and thanks for the tip Andreas, no one has tipped me before here and it's very much appreciated.
