The Cinder Wolf is one of the many monstrous beasts in Whirlworld. A target for many beast hunters the Cinder Wolf is found usually in the Scorch's vast deserts. These large beasts are notorious for being mistaken as visions or mirages from weary traveler. Their elemental appearance and vicious nature is the storied stuff of legends and myth. As they rarely let anyone who has seen them survive it is no wonder that most people still consider them an imaginative invention of travelers looking for attention or some free ale at an inn. However, the Beast Hunters know differently and many have perished in unfortunate battles with the Cinder Wolves of the Scorch.
