Cinco hand spinner fidget
thingiverse
There are numerous hand spinners available here, most of which feature three external bearings. These work exceptionally well and serve their purpose, but when you acquire a 10-pack of 608ZZ bearings from Amazon and construct your triple spinner, six bearings remain unused. While this is sufficient to print two double spinners, the excitement quickly fades. The primary function of the external bearings is to enhance the rotational inertia of the spinner - so why not opt for larger ones? Honestly, they do not work as effectively as a triple spinner for general fidgeting purposes - the geometry feels slightly off - but due to the added rotational inertia, it definitely has a strong spinning tendency. For end buttons, I recommend utilizing the excellent ones provided by the remix source. Print Settings Printer: Monoprice Maker Select v2 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% grid Notes: I only required rafts due to my printer's severe difficulty with first-layer adhesion, so the raft is essentially a disposable layer. On a properly calibrated printer, this should not be necessary. How I Designed This I created this design in SketchUp and aimed to incorporate a smooth rounded edge like the remix source. However, my limited experience with the software combined with its complexity regarding tangency left me on the verge of giving up - so I opted for an extremely simple design.
