Cincinnati Flying Pigs! updated 1.26.2018

In anticipation of Cincinnati's Flying Pig Marathon, adorable flying pigs are now available for printing! The new files, "flying_pig_140409a_x_0.4_flatfoot" and "flying_pig_140409a_x_0.6_flatfoot," print the rear foot more attractively than previous versions. However, support material is still required. The pig and wings are separate prints, with the smaller-sized files (indicated by 0.4 in the name) at 40% scale and larger files (0.6) at 60%. To minimize support material, the pig body "flying pig" is rotated. For optimal results, use the "flat_foot" files. The full-sized flying pig file remains non-rotated. Wing .stl files are one piece with a hole for hanging, while side wing files are two pieces that can be attached on the sides; hang side wings using the appropriate "hook" file. Create a tail by drilling a 5/64" hole in the back of the pig, twisting a piece of 1.75 mm filament around a small screwdriver, and gluing it with acetone. Acrylic paint can be used to add details such as eyeballs, snout, and feet, as done by my wife. This design is also featured in a flying pig mobile available on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2790832).
