Cincinnati Bearcats Desk Stand
thingiverse
Simple logo desk stand I designed for my college, UC. Comes with two STLs: the logo and the stand, that you can print together or independently for different colors. Print the logo at a low infill, 10% worked fine for me. The stand should be printed at a high infill, 60-100%. The way the logo is designed will leave it slightly leaning. Having a high infill will mitigate this and make it much sturdier. You can use a lower infill on the stand (My first stand print was at 10% and worked!), but I highly recommend around 80%. Do not print with supports, it will probably be a pain to remove them from the stand hole in the logo. Once finished, just insert the stand piece into the hole on the bottom of the logo. Both pieces should slide right in place. You may want to scale it up or down relative to your printing resolution. If you have trouble finding a good place to grip the logo to insert the stand with enough force, grip the left side of the C horizontally, that worked for me. I hope you enjoy this silly little print! I'll probably be making some more college logo desk stands soon. Do not sell this print, this is purely for personal use only. There is a watermark at the back of the stand, however, when displayed it is not visible.
