A 3D-printable robust CIM Motor Mount designed for stability and ease of use with flywheels and other applications. Simply attach the mount to a flat surface using #10 screws, then secure the motor to the mount with pipe clamps (max width .5 inches). Print Settings: Printer: Kerrby Rafts: Optional - no significant impact on print quality. Supports: Not required for this design. Infill: 35% is recommended for optimal strength and structural integrity. Notes: It is crucial that the bottom of the mount remains flat to ensure a successful print. If you do not have access to a heated bed, print the part on its side to minimize the risk of layer separation. Printing the part on its side also provides additional stability and reduces the likelihood of layers splitting apart during the printing process.
