Ciliated epithelial cells are equipped with microscopic hair-like appendages that propel substances outward from our bodies through rapid back-and-forth motion. This specialized tissue is found in our respiratory tracts, facilitating the removal of unwanted particles, and within female fallopian tubes, where it plays a crucial role in guiding reproductive cells towards their destination.
