Brackets and fixing accessories are necessary for securing the Ciclop scanner to a sturdy base board. Hold down brackets measuring approximately 25 x 8mm on the inside can be found online at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:697498/#files. The required spacers, which measure around 12 mm high, will suit the i3 Rework Mounting Brackets. You can access these from https://www.tinkercad.com/things/0Onko5dN08E-ciclop-base-board-spacer. In addition, the Ciclop Camera Holder base needs to be provided with special feet, available online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/jD9WSXx7VhG-ciclop-camera-holder-feet. More updates will be posted as they are developed. I'd like to thank Bantum for the Ciclop scanner design which was created using Tinker CAD. Download and print the required parts as follows: Choose a suitable base board that measures 600 x 400 mm, constructed from 12mm MDF. Position 'Holder feet' to facilitate leveling of the scanner. Secure the Mounting Bracket with nuts and washers on either side. This is an added precautionary measure to prevent damage during transit. Next, screw the Mounting Brackets onto the base board securely. Pass the mounting brackets under a heat gun for proper fitting before attaching it permanently to the board. Additional projects will be uploaded once completed. Thanks go out to Bantum for his helpful insights in completing this project. References: This guide utilizes the i3 Reworks Mounting Brackets in the following build instructions. Take a tip: Locate and mark the centreline of the baseboard where the scanner can sit comfortably, to guarantee proper alignment of all scanner parts.
