châssis laser 3 axes
thingiverse
I'm having a pressing need for a 3-axis laser engraver and I recently purchased an Elksmaker A3. The link to the topic with evolution is https://www.usinages.com/threads/projet-en-cours-graveuse-laser-tri-axis-sur-base-eleksmaker-a3-et-shield-cnc-3-axes.119431/. I decided to reuse the profiles 2020 and 2040 that were provided for the past 2-axis system, adapted to 3 axes. I found this model of carriage: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1839201, but it was not suitable for mounting a laser or my wheels. In addition, its assembly requires many different types of screws and parts. Therefore, I re-did all the parts, which are still compatible with the wheels and parts, so you can mix and match between the two for assembly. The end pieces with pulleys for axes X and Y were designed by me. The carriage of axis X is designed to hold my 15W laser without an adapter (see photos). The carriage of axis Y is currently being designed. Some parts of axis Z have not yet been printed, but are based on existing printed parts. I will soon add the adapter supports for lasers 5.5W and 0.5W as they are already designed and printed. I also re-made the support for the trapezoidal nut screw of axis Z, my source is here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1939491. I just added the Y carriage, feet, and parts that hold axis Y in place. A support to hold the board on the X carriage was also added. Upcoming will be a support for the PCB on the Z carriage.
