As I adored my Chuwi VI8, I naturally assumed that the Chuwi Hi8 Pro would be an exceptional successor to my trusty VI8. Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations... Overheating issues and Bluetooth problems made it impossible for me to use it as my primary on-the-go handheld device. A thermal shim mod failed to provide adequate cooling. I opted instead for a plate of pure copper, which unfortunately made the tablet bulkier. So, I had to design a rear cover that was slightly larger than the original. TLDR: This rear cover allows you to customize your Chuwi Hi8 Pro with ease! Use the bracket only version if you want to know whether the final product will fit perfectly. FAQ Why are there no speaker and camera holes? I'm still searching for a proper lens glass, and drilling clean holes in my case is essential. Are these dimensions off?
