The Church of All Saints stands today as a testament to Godovytsia's rich history, its once-majestic walls now bearing witness to the ravages of time in Lviv region. Conceived by the renowned architect Bernard Meretyn in the late baroque style, this sacred building was a masterpiece that left an indelible mark on the area. The altar, once adorned with Johann Georg Pinsel's breathtaking sculpture Sacrifice of Abraham, now lies bare, its beauty lost to the flames that ravaged it in 1974. We have undertaken the task of capturing the essence of this ancient structure through laser scanning, a meticulous process that will ultimately contribute to an integrated scientific research project aimed at restoring the Church of All Saints to its former glory.
