Chun kam (a long-necked lute or banjo)

Chun kam (a long-necked lute or banjo)

thingiverse

This is a 1:8 scale model of Chun-kam 秦琴 (in Cantonese Chinese), also known as qin-qin in Mandarin, or meihuaqin 梅花琴, a fretted, long-neck plucked lute with a wooden body in the shape of a plum flower. It is an old folk instrument common in Hong Kong and south China. It is often played in traditional Cantonese narrative music called naamyam 南音, and it's also common in Hakka 客家 and Teochew 潮州 music. I sketched it with Shapr3D. If you need the original file to edit the model, please let me know. Because of overhang features, it needs support, and please beware of possibility of warping.
