Chumby One Motherboard Holder

Chumby One Motherboard Holder

I'm working on a fascinating project to give my Chumby One an upgraded appearance by placing it in a new case. This idea has been brewing for quite some time, and my Chumby has remained dormant for a considerable period due to my preoccupation with other maker bot projects. My enthusiasm for modifying the Chumby has rekindled, driven by the inspiration from those endeavors. Although the hardware production for Chumby has ceased, I'm excited about this project and will keep you posted on the progress as it unfolds. To begin with, the printing process was a bit challenging as the object warped significantly but proved to be flexible enough to not affect the overall outcome adversely. The next steps include drilling out the holes on the mounting legs, which were slightly under-sized for reusing the original screws; thus, I had to enlarge them. There's ample clearance, and no need to worry about that. Next, attach the holder to your case using the four available mounting holes. Finally, utilize the Chumby's original screws to secure the board in place. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting project!
