Chuck Key Keeper for Harbor Freight 1/2" Drill

This is a replacement chuck key holder/keeper for the Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 1/2" drill. The current SKU's for this drill are 61741, 69452, and 3273 The key holder that's built into the drill appears to be made of some soft type of PVC plastic. The factory holder works well enough in warm weather, however, it split open the first time I tried to remove the key on a cold winter day. I designed this holder to permanently store the key at the plug end of the power chord. While keeping the key conveniently with the drill, preventing it from being misplaced, attaching it to the end of the chord has the added safety benefit that the tool will most likely be unplugged during the process of changing bits. This model is intentionally a tight fit on both the chuck key and the power chord as neither is intended to be removed post installation.
