Chrysler Town and Country Stow 'n Go Latch

Summary One of my wife's 2005 Town and Country van stow-n-go latches broke down. I looked into buying a replacement part, but even the cheapest one I found cost around $30 from an untrustworthy source. Rather than risk that or pay twice as much at a dealership, I decided to design and print a new latch myself. This thing is what I came up with. I first printed it in PLA to test its fit and work out any issues. I was planning to print the final version in ABS, but my first attempt didn't turn out right. The ABS curled up on the overhangs when I printed it vertically with supports, so I ended up with a part that looks a little sloppy. Since the latch is hidden most of the time, it doesn't really matter, but I'm a bit of an OCD person, so I installed the PLA part instead. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Hesine M505 (Prusa i3) Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 25% Notes: Whatever printing method you use, this part will need supports. I printed it vertically so the layers would run against the tab on the bottom of the latch. If they were along the tab, it might break like the original one did.
