Chrysler Gas Pedal Cable Spacer

This is a part for early 1990's Chrysler products. I designed this to adapt a 4 cylinder throttle cable to be used in a 6 cylinder (3.3L/3.8L) Dodge Dynasty (4458128). The 4 cylinder accelerator cable is still available, and sold as being compatible (ATP Y-402). While the cable sheath is a bit short, it still installs to the vehicle and will fit well. The actual cable inside, however, is about one inch too long. This spacer takes up the slack. It should be installed over the existing gas pedal cable retainer (plastic thing that holds the cable to the pedal). Pull the cable through the retainer, insert the spacer, and align the spacer to the original retainer and press them together, they should stay together by friction. Add the C-clip to the spacer to keep the cable from coming out of it.
