For those who enjoy a challenge, creating your own valve covers is possible. Start with a one-inch thick bar and weld a halved piece of 4.5" x 4.5" mechanical tubing to it. You'll need a welder for this task. Use a 15" I.D., 1/8" O-ring (Dash number 281). Be aware, though: Chrysler and some aftermarket companies drill the valve cover bolts at an angle of 7° off perpendicular during the same operation as the valves, so proceed with caution.
