Chronus Mk2 - Hobbyweight Combat Robot

Hi, this is the revamped Chronus. In 2022, the previous evolution of Chronus competed in the East and West Coasts, most notably going 6-2 at NHRL September, taking wins over Yob Gnol, Pramheda, Ugee, Not Disko, Black Jack, and Honey Shock. These experiences have made me appreciate the design of my 12lb vertical spinner; however, it also revealed all the places I need to improve. After 8 months of feverishly sketching and a month hard at design, I'd like to introduce Chronus Mk2. Much like my Hyperion design, the first version has acted as a test platform for a unique weapon system. The first Chronus proved that a hub motor was viable in the 12lb weight class against the highest level of competition. This version utilizes EDM machining to bring about a much more advanced weapon geometry, featuring hardened S7 and a longer, more powerful motor. Besides these changes, the weapon system should be as rock-solid as the generation before. The chassis construction has been the most modified, now featuring a billet frame and machined drive clamps to ensure rigidity. Chronus has also fell in-line with the "4-Wheel Vert" archetype, in which I'm casting Vytaflex wheels for improved traction over the previous Banebots wheels. I'm super hyped for this project and can't wait to fight at NHRL again. If you have any questions, please contact me at my new email: Bldjlnrobotics@gmail.com
