I'm working on a personal project that involves creating a custom workspace at home. My studio has no permanent fixtures on the walls, and I wanted an industrial-style shelving system. I designed worktops to match this aesthetic. Currently, I have the worktops installed and am now focusing on incorporating a pegboard and magnetized board into the setup. The magnetized board will be a fabricated sheet steel painted to suit my preferences. The worktop size is 1210 x 700, customized for my needs. To account for potential misalignment due to an uneven floor or carpet, the 'pockets' or semi-circular cuts on the shelving are slightly larger. I use Zip Bolt fasteners (http://www.zipbolt.com.au/products) to connect the worktops. As I continue to refine and expand my workspace, I'll share updates and answer any questions that come up.
