Update: Due to requests the sliced model is finally here! It's compatible with Ender 3 and larger 3D printers and will print in five different pieces with four support pieces. Issue Fixed: Good files are now up! Assembly of parts is pictured in the above diagram. For printing all parts should already be positioned properly in the 3MF files but feel free to adjust them however you like. The components of the sword probably print best vertically, and the components of the pegs would support the structure best when printed on the side to prevent breaking along layer lines for final assembly. Printing pegs with a higher infill or stronger material such as ABS/ASA/PETG would create a stronger part compared to PLA if you're planning on heavier usage in a cosplay setting. Note that the bottom and top blade peg is slightly smaller than the top blade and blade tip peg. I haven't yet printed this myself because my own printers are under maintenance at the moment, but I'd love to see someone else make it happen and I'm very open to feedback as this design hasn't been tested yet. However, I don't think there should be too many glaring issues right now. Regarding assembly, it's pretty straightforward with pegs slotting through the sword parts and I assume you'd use superglue or some similar adhesive. I hope you guys enjoy! All one piece, intended for figurine scale/keychain design but can be scaled to any size. If requested, I'll post a multipart piece.
