Create a Christmas tree using the customizer feature. To enhance its appearance, you can adjust the cubic curve of the branches by increasing the number of branches. Additionally, set the branch overhang to achieve a desired look; however, be cautious as higher overhangs may cause blobs. The original design is credited to kowomike and can be found on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:186164). For an easy-to-understand explanation of home 3D printing, watch this 2-minute video made for schools (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpHv19jdloI). Experiment with your slicer settings to print the tree efficiently. Reduce print time by setting infill to zero and wall to nozzle width. The orange plastic trees were sliced using CURA 13.11.2 with PLA filament, a 0.1mm layer thickness, 0.4mm wall and bottom thickness, 0% fill, 100mm/sec speed, 200°C temperature, and a 0.4mm nozzle on an Ultimaker printer.
