Christmas tree twist on fasteners
thingiverse
I'd be happy to help fasten those lights to the Christmas tree one last time. This little twist fits perfectly into place and grips with great force. It's ideal for that artificial Christmas tree you'll string up each year and then store in the attic or basement until next year. These easy-to-print pads are made from PLA, and I printed 30 of them on my MakerBot 2x. Each pad took about an hour to print. You can't find these in stores easily, but by printing your own, you'll save money and gas (or Uber fares). They normally sell for around $50 per 200 pads on Amazon, but if you have a few hours to spare, you can make all the pads you need and never run out again.
