Christmas Tree Topper - Angel Moroni
thingiverse
This depiction of the Angel Moroni serves as a versatile Christmas tree topper or year-round shelf display. The overall design is reminiscent of the Salt Lake City Temple, while allowing for creative simulations, such as attaching a granite ball to the base or a gold one to Moroni like on the Payson Utah Temple. The ball is included separately for further customization of the parts if desired. The components are Cura scaled and oriented for printing, requiring supports that touch the build plate for the angel (yes, printed upside down) and the trumpet. With a good part cooling fan, additional supports are minimal; please refer to post-processing tips for inserting the trumpet correctly. Due to the precise fit of the parts, it's highly recommended to use thermally calibrated filament. I utilize these clips to calibrate mine with great precision, ensuring the parts fit together seamlessly off the printer without additional surface clean-up. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1037301 or https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2502677
